PREGNANCY

I have a high risk pregnancy.

A "high-risk pregnancy" is one that threatens the health or life of the mother or her baby. It often requires specialized care from specially trained providers. Risk factors may include:

  • Existing health conditions

  • Overweight and obesity

  • Multiple births

  • Young or old maternal age.
